Dieter ist der lezte Mensch auf der Welt. Er will einfach nicht mehr. Bis er Ludwig; den zweiten letzten Menschen trifft, der sich gerade das Leben nehmen will.
Nunmehr vereint, werden sich die beiden darüber klar, daß nur sie – sollten mal andere, intelligente Wesen die Erde besuchen – einen Beweis dafür, daß es die Menschheit gegeben hat, liefern; herstellen können.
Damit werden sie sich einer Verantwortung klar, die sie früher nicht mal geahnt hatten.
Alles scheint auf einmal vorherbestimmt, schicksalhaft.
Warum gerade sie ? Weil sie am Ende der Kette stehen ? Weil sie außerwählt sind ?
Fest steht jedenfalls, daß die Außerirdieschen, die irgendwann mal die Erde besuchen werden, nur das vorfinden können, was sie als ( zwei ) letzte Menschen hinterlassen.

Synopsis:
Dieter is the last person in the world. He just doesn't want to anymore. Until he meets Ludwig; the second last person who also does not want anymore and is about to take his own life. Now united, the two realize that only they - should other, intelligent beings visit the earth - provide proof that humanity existed ; can produce. In doing so, they become aware of a responsibility that they hadn't even suspected before. Everything suddenly seems predetermined, fateful. Why you? Because they are at the end of the chain? In any case, it is certain that the aliens who will visit Earth at some point can only find what they will leave behind as the last two people.
